Throughout the year the team runs a programme of activities, worship, study and parties for our young people. Work with young people plays a key role in our ministry and we are currently looking at ways to develop it further. Our Sunday Schools are growing as is our engagement with Messy Church for children and their families (see below). We work closely with local schools and have strong working ties with our church schools St Michael’s and St Mary & St Pancras.
The parish is committed to safeguarding children and they are welcome into the heart of our parish worship. We lead an annual residential holiday during the summer, this year taking a group of children and teens to an outdoor activities centre on the Isle of Wight. We receive generous funding from a wide range of charitable trusts and private donors enabling us to keep places affordable for all.
A regular fun event for children and their families held in alternate churches. Crafts and games, a simple act of worship and a shared hot meal. All children must attend with an adult. Check Diary page for date and venue.
